A1 Pits Forum

Had an overnighter on pit 2 with a mate and took my son along for the ride. Got to lakes around 1pm and got set up. Lake looked nice but the 2 pegs we where going to fish were in use on the railway bank so opted to go on the A1 bank and try our luck. The pegs were a bit reeded up but my mate Steve being at one with nature stripped to his shorts and cleared some reeds out to get rods in. I only had the rods in about 30 mins when I had a good take which ended in a 13 common in the net. About 30 mins later another good run and a bit of a fight under the rod tip and a gorgeous 19 1/4 lb mirror in the net. Got to say what a stunning fish and an A1 pb for me but just shy of my actual Pb, 20lb+ has got to come out soon i'm sure.
