what a session

hiya chaps just back from a session on pit 6

after a weeks fishing the fish spawning etc it was very hard the first part of the week with nothing till tuesday morning the rod ripped off and resulted in a cracking twotone common full twotone aswell which went 20lb 2oz next fish went 21lb 4oz another common, then another rod went off which felt very heavy and slow, when it got to the net all i saw was a big mirror laid there surely a 30 and yes my first 30 from 6 weighing 30lb 14oz,s, was well chuffed it went quiet for a while then another rod ripped off resulting in a 16lb 4oz common, so 4 fish in a day when the fishing was hard with fish spawning everywhere on the lake
the next day just before 10 in the morning the rod ripped off again and this time it was something like ive never felt before i thought i was snagged up but then movement very slow but a dead weight at times, after a very hard fight i caught a glimse in the side of another big mirror when i saw the fish i knew it was bigger then the first one as i saw the twotone on its side thats it was was shaking like a leaf, first attempt to net it failed second time it was there and i was knackered, it was the best fighting fish id ever had cookie zero,d the sling and weighed the fish for me and then told me the weight 35lb 12oz,s i was over the moon not just 2 pb,s in a session but a brace of 30,s and both mirror,s aswell well heres the pics anyway i think the twotone common is 1 cracking fish
