    hi all , well wot a weekend went friday lunch wanted to fish pit 4 but got there and all pits frozen apart from pit six. But didnt want to risk fishing it incase it froze over through the night so we fished the trent i had some knocks on friday night but nothing showed.   2. Planning a session

    hi all i hope everyone`s settled into 2012 roll on summer i say lol as i work outside. But anyway im planning a session on my birthday weekend the first weekend in feb so i was just wondering if theres any fish been showing or caught. I think were gonna be going on pit 4 or 5 .So any info would be greatly took onboard tight lines...... Ant

  3. bait boat's £5 a day do me a faver !!!

    just sean that bait boats are aloud on the pits from october till march ,, at a cost of £5 per day , i find this quite disturbing as the anglers are paying to fish the lake , and a bait boat is just a peice of tackle that might help the angler catch when the going is tough ,, just a unnessursary primum ,, what do you think,, there will be a charage for putting free bee's in next..

  4. First Time

    Hi Guys me and a couple of mates fished pit 6 for 24 hours sat to sun. Fished single cell 15mm about 60 yards out from the trackside . I fished one pop up and the other just on the bottom had a few runs on the pop up and plenty of fish showing but couldnt get any on oh well . but apart from that we met the bailiff whos a nice guy and made us feel very welcome. And cant wait to go back .So if theres any1 out there that could give me a few hints on baits and tatics i would be chuffed as i just cant ...

  5. Catch report for River Trent 19/11/11

    Hi all, just thought I would fill you in on my lastest session on the river. I took a friend who is new to angling to try and catch his first barbel. We were plagued by bream all night!!! I honestly lost count of how many we banked but on the plus side he was able to catch his first river bream so all was not lost! A tactical bait change saw us start connecting with the barbel and he managed to catch his first barbel a lovely fish of 6lbs 10oz...not a monster but his first ever so it was mission ...
